Extension Request

At the end of your exchange period do not forget to book an appointment with the International Office for the final forms. One of the most important documents you will have is the Certificate of Attendance, required by your Home university to calculate the actual duration of your exchange period. The day recorded as the final one in the certificate of attendance formally states the end of your exchange period, this means that you cannot sit any more ex- ams or participate in any other teaching activities.

Certificate of Attendence

Should you have any specific forms from your Home University you need us to fill in, send them in advance to internacionais-campus2@sc.ipp.pt so they will be ready in due time.

At the end of your stay, the Transcript of Records will be emitted will all the information regarding the grades.

CALENDAR

Lessons generally begin at the begging of October. The course timetables are set yearly, usually in the weeks before the start of the programmes.

LANGUAGE

The main language used for teaching is portuguese. We have, however, some classes that might be taught in english. We are working on creating english based courses but, for the moment, that’s not implemented.

LEARNING PORTUGUESE

Porto Polytechnic offers some Portuguese language courses. Please talk to us about their availability because these courses are not regular.
